NMJ Topline model of Oslo Airport Express train BM 71. Three car unit in the livery from 2006.
The models of BM71 have all details on the bodies and bogies, with interior and light which change according to the direction. Electrical short couplings between the coaches. Double cardan axels with flywheels and middle motor, driven on two bogies. Exact in scale 1:87 H0, total length of model is 930 mm. The model negotiate all curves from R2.
The Airport Express Train "Flytoget" 3 car unit consists of BM71, BMU 71 and BFM 71. Each unit with driving bogie and one running bogie. The Gardermobanen from Oslo to the new Oslo Airport Grardermoen was the first high speed line in Norway and open in 1998. Trains running every 10 minutes and short travel time made "Flytoget" a great sucess. Around 40% of the passenger take the Air Port Express train. Built by Adtranz, ex Strømmens Verksted 1997-1998.
