Model of DSB QGR livestock van built at Scandia in 1896-1913, in platform version. The QGR vans were livestock-carrying sub-type of the small Q-type wagons. The small Q-type were all built with a 12ft (3,66m) wheelbase, following British practice at the time. QGR coded wagons were originally constructed with brake house, but this was removed during the early 1950s leaving just the platform. The type was utilised for the transportation of all types of livestock but mainly pigs, cattle and horses. DSB operated a fleet of 863 QGR cars.
