Grh was the first big volume freight car in Sweden. From 1927-1933 all together 400 Grh were delivered to SJ. Later 50 Grh was rebuilt to the Gk and 20 stk Gi with doors in both ends for express freight in passenger trains. Grh had an axel distance of 6,4 m and maximum speed of 90km/h. Loading capasity 30,1 m2 and 19 tons.
Some Grh was rebuilt to Post wagons type D30 for use in passenger trains. D30 got end doors, and safety walking boards, 1000V cable and batteries for lighting.
Grh was in use until 1980-ties. Later sevearl were used as internal wagons.
