Totally 469 L4, No. 50000-50468, was built from 1936-1953. 268 cars without brake plattform and from 50270 equipped with brake plattform. Loading capasity was 21 tons, 24 m3.
NMJ make both versions in model, in 3 different eras,
original version 1936-1942 with casted iron shields,
1941-1968 with painted steel plate shields, and with
UIC numbering from 1968 to 1992 for international trafic.
Some L4 were rebuilt to NSB Lt4, after 1968 Fb-w with higher side wall for transport of wood chips.
