New, improved and heavier chassis for extra traction power. Equipped with MTC21 interface for decoder and high qualtity loudspeaker mounted for easy retrofitting of decoder. Individul light functions available for digital operation.
Easy conversion to AC/Märklin operation with the conversion-kit NMJT95990, which includes AC wheel and power pick-up shoe, see listed accessory below. 3 wires needs to be soldered to complete the conversion.
Delivered in DC analogue and DCC sound versions with the fantastic NMJ exclusive Nohab sound.
20 M61 lok were built by Nohab for MAV in 1963-1964. Used mostly in passenger trains all over Hungary. They were repainted in the new orange colour scheme from the end of 1970s. Many of the M61 locomotives are preserved, such as M61.01, M61.10, M61.017 and M61.20.
