Historic.

Co3c, from 1956 Bo3c and from 1970 B22 was built by Skabo, Skabo and Stroemmen from 1911 to 19244 in total 36 coaches with velvet roofs. This was the continuation of Co3c type 1 which had the lantern roof. Co3c type 1 were built in 3 series from 1912 to 1924, mostly by Strømmen and 5 by Skandia in Denmark. Totally built Bo3c type 1 and 2 was 51.

These open coaches with bigger windows gave a good view to the beautiful scenery of Norway. The seating was the more spacious 2+2 and it made these coaches were popular among the travellers.

The Co3c/Bo3c were at first put into the main lines to Bergen, Trondhjem and Stavanger. After the arrival of steel type B2/B9 and B3 from 1962, the Bo3c/B22 was moved to the Røros-, Vestold-, Østfoldline and supplementary trains in the summer seasons and further on the comuter service.

After the introduction the B7 series coaches from 1983-1985 the last of these coaches was taken out of service in 1983 after for many of them amazing 70 years of service.

The name "Tourist coach" was a synonym for open coaches with bigger windows and was continued with the B2/B9 from early 1950ties and with the well know B3 type from 1962.
