NMJ Topline+ model of NSB Combined passenger and restaurant coach type BEo3a 18139, with rounded roof with all ventilators, body with all details and lettering, painted in very realistic NMJ wooden structure. Under carriage with all details, correct bogies, all exact in HO 1:87. Lighted LED Interior with dining room, kitchen, seats and tables.
Historic.
Totally 5 coaches with this small dining room were delivered to NSB from 1934 to 1937. The 3 first were rebuilt from the Co3c Tourist coaches with lanterning roof in 1934. The two last ones were built by Skabo in 1937 and had the more modern velvet roof.
The coaches were in use on the Nordland-, the Røros-, Sørlands., and Bergen until 1965 and then moved the reserve fleet. 18140 was taken over by the Technological Institute for educational purposes. In 1981 18140 was sold to the Norra Bergslags Veteran-Jernväg, in Nora, Sweden and then in 2006 sold back to the Museums railway “Gamle Vossebanen” on and old part of the Bergen line near Bergen.
