Historic
The WLAB01a were in use on all main lines in Norway and in the services to Stockholm and Copenhagen.
Last coach, No. 705 was taken out of service on the 4th of October 1967. Some coaches were later used as internal coaches.
The 705 is preserved by the Norwegian Railway Museum at Hamar.
During the WWII the 702 and 704 was rebuilt by replacing the 3rd Class compartments with a meeting room and a kitchen for the use of the German Admiral in Norway and chief in Command for Luftwaffe, the German Airforce.
