Historic/>The Iron Ore Line locomotive type NSB El 3 were built in a co-operation by Hamar/Thune and delivered to NSB from 1925-1929. From1949 the NSB El 3 and SJ Oe/of was used on the whole line Narvik-Kiruna without locomotive change on the border.
NSB El 3 was techncally identical with JSJ Oe. El 3 was also in use in Oslo District 1939-1941. El 3 was taken out of service in 1967 when the El 15 arrived.
