550 NSB Rps open flat bogie wagons were built by Strømmens Værksted and NSB Workshop Kvalaberg in Stavanger frpm 1970 to 1980. Original litra was Rgps with UIC number 393 1 000, later changed to Rps with number 393 3 000. Rps has a length of 22740 o.b., maximal payload 58 tons with a maximal speed of 100kn/h. Rps was in use for transport of all kind of goods, wood chip with containers, pallets, big sack, wooden planks and timber, containers etc etc.Some Rps was marked with Artic Rail Express for the direct train Oslo-Narvik via Sweden. Many Rps are sold to private companies, such as Three T, Baneservice, Jernbaneverket etc
