NMJ Supeline model of the NSB reefer type Hv3 8497 with brake platform with brake wheel, roof ladder and open buffers. The roof has ice lids, with all handles and ventilator. With the "FRISCHE FISCHE AUS NORWEGEN" shield. Lettering from ca 1911 - ca 1943 .
The Superline models have all details on the body, roof and undercarriage including complete brake system with all details. Sprung buffers, sprung scale couplers and sprung axel boxes, makes these wagen to a highlight in every collection and on every layout.
The H3 series was in use for transport of fresh fisk in Norway and to continental Europe. Often sent with the passenger trains for faster transport. Some of these wagons had the very well known sign "Frische Fische aus Norwegen (Fresh fisk from Norway).
