History.
4 new DF37 Post and Luggage coaches in the B2-series coaches were produced by Skabo in Oslo and delivered to NSB i 1956. In addion to the NSB conductors the Post employees made normal postal duties on board with reception, sorting and delivery of Post on the way with a mailbox opening on the body sides.
The railway postal services was abandoned in 1991. Two coaches reamarked as NSB F5 type 3 luggage coach and two were rebuilt to Emergency coaches for the Oslo Tunnel and the Romeriksporten tunnel in case of tunnel accidents and placed at Oslo Centralstation.
