NSB CB2 21227 with one closed window and a big blue part market with “Intercity Spesial”. The coaches had a normal seating department with the chairs from B3 series, and the part with chairs and tables for traveller that wanted to work during the travelling. The extra fee for this was fixed NOK 50,- and included coffee and Newspapers.
Put in service on the “Intercity” lines from Oslo to Halden, Skien, and Lillehammer.
These coaches were at the end the oldest steel coaches in service in Norway with an age of 73 years.
Originally built by Linköping, Sweden in 1959 as NSB Co2d/B10 compartments coaches. Modernized and rebuilt at the beginning of the 1970-ties to the B4 open coach with two saloons.
In 1986 rebuilt to Intercity special coach, taken out of service in 2002, and sold to Ofotbanen in Narvik and used in the passenger trains on the Ofotbanen/Iron ore Line until bankruptcy in 2010.
